FORMER Rangers star Wes Foderingham has paid an emotional tribute to George Baldock in the wake of the player’s tragic death.Baldock, who was a teammate of Foderingham’s at Sheffield United, was found dead in his swimming pool last night at the age of 31.PASheffield United celebrate promotion in 2023[/caption]GettyGeorge Baldock played a key part in the Blades’ successful season that year[/caption]GettyAs did former Rangers star Wes Foderingham[/caption]Keith Campbell - The Sun GlasgowFoderingham has paid tribute to his close friend after his shock death[/caption]It has been determined that the cause of Baldock’s death was drowning.His body was discovered at his home in Greece after his partner, who was in England, raised alarm with the rest of the family after being unable to contact her husband.Heartbroken fiancee Annabel Dignam has since described him as her “soulmate” and “the perfect dad”.Ex-Gers goalkeeper Foderingham, spent four years as a teammate to Baldock at Sheffield United.During their time together at Bramall Lane they clinched promotion from the Championship and starred in the Premier League.This summer they parted as Foderingham, 33, left for West Ham and Baldock joined Panathinaikos.They formed a close bond and Foderingham says he will cherish their memories forever.He wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post, in which he included a picture of Baldock lifting him up into the air after a win: “I’m lost for words and can’t get my head around you being gone. “An incredible teammate and a great friend, all the memories we have shared together I will cherish forever. “I pray that your family finds the all the strength in the world to help them through this pain. “Till we meet again.”The family of Baldock also paid tribute to him.They said in a statement: “We are heartbroken with the sudden passing of our beloved George.“You were the most special father, fiancé, son, brother, uncle, friend, teammate and person.
